Soc graduat en Filologia Espanyola i Estudis Llatinoamericans per Gustavus Adolphus College (EUA), i tinc el màster en Lingüística Hispànica de la Universitat de Minnesota (EUA). Actualment soc doctorand en Lingüística Hispànica a la Universitat de Minnesota (en cotutela amb la Universitat de les Illes Balears), i la meva tesi tracta sobre la variació i el canvi lèxics entre els joves bilingües català-castellà a Mallorca. La meva recerca es centra en l’aplicació de diversos mètodes quantitatius per estudiar les dinàmiques del contacte de llengües i l’adquisició del llenguatge, especialment en el lèxic i la gramàtica.

I hold a BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College, and a MA in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Minnesota. I am currently a PhD candidate in Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Minnesota (in cotutelle with the University of the Balearic Islands), writing a thesis on lexical variation and change among Catalan-Spanish bilingual youth in Mallorca. My research focuses on the application of various quantitative methods to study the dynamics of language contact and language acquisition, especially in the lexicon and grammar.
