| Actualment som catedràtic de psicologia (Pensament i llenguatge) a la Universitat de les Illes Balears. La meva formació principal és Filosofia (Doctorat en 1990 “La teorñia computacional de la mente”) y els meus interessos se centren en temes situats en “terra de ningú” a les fronteres entre filosofia de la ment, psicologia i ciència cognitiva: representació i significat, expressió i intersubjectivitat, explicació intencional i racionalitat, adoptant-hi una perspectiva evolutiva.
Vaig rebre una beca postdoctoral Fullbright en 1990-1991 per a treballar a la Rutgers University amb Jery Fodor i vaig fer un any sabàtic en 2009 a la School of Psychology de la University of St. Andrews. I’m currently Full Professor of Psychology (Thinking and Language), at the Psychology Department of the University of the Balearic Islands. My background is in Philosophy (PhD in 1990, “After the Computational Mind”), and my interests have centered on issues at the “no man’s land” of the frontiers between philosophy of mind, psychology and cognitive science: representation and meaning, expression and intersubjectivity, intentional explanation and rationality, taking an evolutionary perspective into account.
