Em vaig llicenciar en Filologia Catalana (2006, Universitat de les Illes Balears; UIB) i després també en Lingüística General  (2007, Universitat de Barcelona; UB). llavors, vaig fer el Màster en Ciència Cognitiva i Llenguatge (2008, UB) i un altre Màster en Cognició i Evolució Humana (2010, UIB). La meva Tesi Doctoral (2012) és sobre l’evolució del llenguatge en les espècies H. sapiens i and H. neanderthalensis, i sobre l’evolució del llenguatge durant l’ontogènia (adquisició del llenguatge) analitzada per mitjà de xarxes complexes.

En 2008 vaig treballar breument al ICREA-Complex Systems Lab, on, gràcies a Bernat Corominas-Murtra, vaig entrar en contacte amb les xarxes, els sistemes complexos i el llenguatge. D’ençà alehores aplic els estudis de xarxes a l’adquisició del llenguatge tant en condicions típiques com atípiques (patològics).

Head of Laboratory  

I have got a bachelor in Catalan philology (2006, University of the Balearic Islands; UIB) and another one in General Linguistics (2007, University of Barcelona; UB). After that, I made a Master in Cognitive Science and Language (2008, UB) and another Master in Human Evolution and Cognition (2010, UIB). My PhD thesis (2012) is on both language evolution in the species H. sapiens and H. neanderthalensis, and language evolution in ontogeny (first language acquisition) analyzed by means of complex networks.

In 2008 I briefly worked for the ICREA-Complex Systems Lab, where, thanks to Bernat Corominas-Murtra, I got in contact with networks, complex systems and language. Since then, I apply Network Science to language acquisition in both typical and atypical (pathological) conditions.
